NEW DELHI: The Center aims to build 2 crore toilets under ‘Swacch Bharat Mission’ across the country in the next financial year. Also proposed a new scheme called Gobar-Dhan for the management of cattle dung. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday said the government would build more toilets in the next financial year. According to Jaitley, more than 6 crore toilets have already been constructed under the preview of India.
This means respect for women, girls education and overall family health has improved. Gobar-Dhan (Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan) program is being proposed as part of the aim of transforming India into an open-deficit country. The program will help cattle, manure, solid waste, compost, fertilizers and biogas plants in villages.
