NEW DELHI: Aayush’s ministry has allocated Rs 1626.37 crore in this year’s budget. This is 13 percent higher than last year. The total expenditure under the AYUSH ministry has been estimated at Rs 71.36 crore. In the previous Budget, it was first that Rs 68.86 crore was allotted and then Rs 87.64 crore have increased last year. Regulation agencies and autonomous institutions have increased allocations this time. Rs.9.60 crore for legal and regulatory bodies and Rs 906.70 crore for autonomous institutions. The Central Council of Homeopathy of New Delhi, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, the Autonomous States, the All India Institute of Ayurveda, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences and the National Institute of Homeopathy are under Legal and regulatory bodies.
