NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has been allocated Rs 192 crore in the 2018-19 budget for the Ministry of Personnel Affairs to train infrastructure in the country and improve infrastructure needed for central government employees. In this amount, Rs 75.35 crore will be provided in the Institute of Secretariat and Management (ISTM) and Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA).
The remaining Rs.116.75 crore will be spent on developing the ISTM as the Center for Excellence of LBSNAA. Last year, the department had allocated Rs. 194.3 crore. The Central Information Commission (CIC) and the Public Enterprises Selection Board have been allocated Rs 26.54 crore and Central Administrative Tribunal (Cat) Rs 111.86 crore. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Rs. 286.13 crore. Rs 1.65 crore has been allocated to the states to build residential complexes to IAS, IPS, IFS.
