New Delhi: Former Union Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram in the INX Media Bundles case Chidambaram’s son Karthi Chidambaram faced a blow. The Supreme Court today dismissed Karthik’s bail plea. EDI has issued notices on the money laundering case filed against Karti. The Supreme Court’s adjournment hearing on March 9 was postponed to March 9, as it did not provide any protection against early arrests. Karthi Chidambaram was approached by the Supreme Court on Monday to remove the summons issued by him.
The CBI, which is investigating the corruption case, questioned Karti in the Baikula Central Jail. The CBI alleges that Kripi has been heavily bumped to make green signal for foreign investments in the INX media while his father was finance minister. Karthikei alleged that the CBI argument is untrue.
