NEW DELHI: All of the candidates seeking central and state government jobs have been recommended by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense to take action to work in the Army for five years. The Committee submitted a report to the Parliament in the wake of the shortage of military personnel in three different forces.
The committee has also taken the matter to the attention of the central staff and training department (DEOPT). The issue of the issue was that the Defense Department did not take the correct attention to the attention of the DeoPity. At present there are 7,679 officers in the Indian Army along with 20,185 junior commissioned officers, 1,434 officers in the Navy, 14,730 sailors, 146 air force officers and 15,357 airmen positions vacant.
