NEW DELHI: Over the past three years, the highest number of complaints have been filed against the telecommunication department of banks and financial services for key financial transactions. The central government has revealed in the Lok Sabha during Question Hour on Wednesday.
Last year, the Department of Financial Services (DFS) had received a total of 6000 299 complaints and Department of Telecommunication (DOT) of Rs 21,000, respectively, of which Union Minister Jitendra Singh said. Similarly, in the year 2016, 2015, 88,850 complaints were received, 53,776 complaints were received, 2016 in the DOT, 67,551 and 63,929 complaints respectively. The minister also revealed that many of these issues were resolved.
