The Food Security (ration) card website resumed on Wednesday. This will enable you to apply for new services, renewables, changes and additions to your service, e-services. With the restarting of the website after 9 months break, the first day of the application came to a halt. This has resulted in a great deal of impact on your service and e-service servers. In some sites, it took longer to log on to the website.
The website has been suspended for the creation of e-pass machines in state-owned low-cost retail stores across the state, with no new issuance of grants, changes, additions and restoration. More than 3 lakh applications have already been cleared by the Civil Supplies Department. Civil Service Commissioner CV Anand has written to the NIC and your service directors to revise the Food Security Card website on 13th of this month following the completion of the e-passing process in 17,027 ration shops. The authorities have resumed the website on Wednesday. The state has a total of 50,24,511 food security cards, including 1,91,71,623 beneficiaries. There are about 12 lakhs of cardless families.
